ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Samuel Leong, and I currently serve as the Sound Coordinator for the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO). My passion for sound began during my studies at Republic Polytechnic, where I pursued a Diploma in Sonic Arts and was honoured with the Ngee Ann Kongsi scholarship, the Diploma Prize, and the Diploma Gold Medal Prize for my academic achievements.

Upon graduating in 2022, I joined SCO, where I was entrusted with overseeing the technical aspects of concert production. My role involves meticulous audio mixing for indoor and outdoor performances, ensuring exceptional sound quality that enhances the experience for both audiences and performers.

Beyond my technical responsibilities, I am deeply committed to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of sound professionals. Through leadership and innovation, I strive to elevate industry standards and contribute to the vibrant music scene in Singapore and beyond.

I am also currently mentored by Mr Jackie Tay. A Sound Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the field.
